Summer Garden

In this 2.5 hour workshop you can choose to make:

Option 1- a curved, free standing pieces of fused glass which you can display on a windowsill, shelf or mantlepiece (they look super fab with fairy lights running behind!)

Option 2- a flat piece of fused glass that you can mount onto board, or in a box frame, to display on a wall.

Option 3- a set of coasters.

You will be able to select from several different patterns, or we can come up with your very own design.

The decoration will be created using a range of clear and coloured sheet glass which we will cut to shape, along with glass frits, stringers, nuggets and confetti, copper sheet inclusions, Oh and with a bit of sparkle thrown in for good measure!

I will help you as much, or as little, as you require from start to finish.

If you choose to make a free standing piece then it will require TWO firings. One to fuse the glass together, then another to SLUMP it into a mould to make it 3 Dimensional, so please expect to wait approximately ONE WEEK before for your work will be be ready for collection.

Whilst I have tried to make this workshop as safe as possible, that cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the materials involved.
You must wear solid soled, closed toed shoes- STRICTLY no flip flops, crocs or sandals!
You may need to wear safety glasses. I have plenty of pairs for you to use but you may want to bring your own.

Because you will be able to choose to cut sheet glass as part of your design this one is aimed adults, however if you would like to book someone in who is younger than 16 please contact me to find out if this is appropriate.
