SUMMARY:Christmas Fused glass Mantlepiece topper\, morning OR afternoon.
DESCRIPTION:In this 2.5  hour workshop (one session in the morning\, another in the afternoon) you will be making a beautiful\, free standing\, curved Fused Glass ornament to go on your mantlepiece or windowsill\, to display with twinkly fairylights or candles. \nI limit each session to only FOUR people so you will get all the attention you need. \nYou will be able to select from several different patterns\, or we can come up with your very own design! \nThe decoration will be created using a range of coloured sheet glass which we will cut to shape\, along with glass frits\, stringers\, nuggets and confetti. Oh and with a bit of sparkle thrown in for good measure!\nYour finished piece will measure approx 20x15cm. (If you would prefer\, your piece doesn’t have to curved to be free standing\, we can look at options on the day.) \nI will help you as much\, or as little\, as you require from start to finish. \nYour piece will require TWO firings. DESCRIPTION:Calling all Glass Artists!\nVisit the Glass Studio in December and have a go at Glass Fusing! \nIn this super fun Festive mini workshop you will decorate a pre cut glass shape using glass frits\, stringers\, ribbons\, nuggets and glassline pens to make your very own CHRISTMAS decoration!! \nThis is a really fun way to spend some time with friends and family\, suitable for kids and grown ups\, making beautiful decorations that you can hang up and enjoy for years to come! \nUnder 18’s must be supervised by their adult throughout. \nWhilst I have tried to make this activity as safe as possible\, this cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the materials involved. \nThe minimum age is 8\, but it is parents/guardians responsibility to decide if their 8+ child is able to take part in this activity safely. \nThe price is for a 1 hour slot\, to make ONE decoration. Please book consecutive slots if you would like to guarantee enough time to make multiple decorations.\nIf you work quickly and if there is availability you may be able to make more items in your 1 hour booked slot  for an additional cost.\nAnd\, for an additional cost on the day you may be able to choose to have your piece made into a tealight holder! \nPlease stick to your booked time slot! DESCRIPTION:The studio elves have been super busy for quite some time now making sure this years\nChristmas Open Studio will be full to the brim with Festive Sparkle!\nIf you have never been to this event before then do come along to see\nwhat it’s all about. It’s the only time of the year that I clear the workbenches and turn the studio into a twinkly Christmas Grotto.\nThere will be Glass Gifts and Cards to buy as well as the always popular\nMake Your Own Fused Glass Christmas Decoration!\n(and in case you wondering- YES! Of course there will be mulled wine)\nThis years Christmas Open Studio will be on\nSaturday 29th & Sunday 30th November\, 11-4.\n168 Acheson rd\, B90 2JA.\nThere is absolutely no need to book\, but there is an option to get your free tickets if you would prefer.  Put simply- You can turn up with or without booking a free ticket!\nFREE entry\, just turn up and join in the Festive Fun!\nIf you want to have a go and make your very own Fused Glass decoration\, prices range from £12-20 per decoration\, depending on which design you choose. There is a minimum age of 8 yrs for this activity\, and under 18’s must be supervised by their adult throughout. It is the parents responsibility to decide if their 8+ child is able to take part safely. SUMMARY:Stained Glass\, Leading\, one day workshop
DESCRIPTION:In this fun one day workshop you will create a traditional leaded panel. Your finished piece will be up to 30cm sq. \nWe will start at 10am and aim to finish at 4\, however this is a busy day so allow for us to over run by up to an hour! \nSuitable for ALL Levels\, even complete beginners. I limit the group to only FOUR participants so you will get all the attention you need. \nI have lots of tried and tested designs you can choose from\, or we can work with your own ideas. \nYou/we will cut your chosen glass to shape and then using traditional leading techniques you will assemble your panel. \nYou will then cement and polish your work ready to take home with you at the end of your workshop day. \nI will help you as much\, or as little\, as you would like me to throughout! \nAll materials included. \nThere will be drinks and biscuits available throughout the day\, but you will need to bring a packed lunch. \n18+ \nThis workshop is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding. \nPlease note \, unfortunately my garden studio is not wheelchair accessible. \nYou should receive a confirmation email within a few days of booking which will explain  the full details for the day.

SUMMARY:Leaded Stained Glass Panel for the Garden
DESCRIPTION:In this fun one day workshop you will create a traditional leaded panel\, with a steel/zinc frame and legs. \nThe frame will stand approx 60cm tall\, and be approx 16cm wide\, making it perfect for a large pot on your patio\, or to display in a large houseplant pot indoors. \nSuitable for ALL Levels\, even complete beginners. DESCRIPTION:Calling all Glass Artists!\nVisit the Glass Studio and have a go at Glass Fusing! \nIn this super fun mini workshop you will decorate a pre cut glass shape using glass frits\, stringers\, ribbons\, and nuggets  to make your very own glass decoration. This can be on a hook to hang\, or you might want to leave out the hook so you can mount your glass design into a box frame to display on a wall or shelf\, or for an additional cost your design may be suitable to turn into a tealight holder! \nThe theme is just a guide- if you would prefer to work on your own design using the above materials then this is absolutely doable! \nThis is a really fun way to spend some time with friends and family\, making beautiful decorations that you can hang up and enjoy for years to come! \nUnder 18’s must be supervised throughout. \nWhilst I have tried to make this activity as safe as possible\, this cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the materials involved. \nThe price is to make ONE decoration.\nIf there is availability you may be able to make more items on the day for an additional cost.\nAnd\, for an additional cost on the day you may be able to have your piece made into a tealight holder! \nPlease stick to your booked time slot! DESCRIPTION:In this 2 hour workshop you will be making a beautiful\, free standing\, curved Fused Glass ornament to go on your mantlepiece or windowsill\, to display with twinkly fairylights or candles. \nYou will be able to select from several different patterns\, or we can come up with your very own design! \nThe decoration will be created using a range of coloured sheet glass which we will cut to shape\, along with glass frits\, stringers\, nuggets and confetti. Oh and with a bit of sparkle thrown in for good measure!\nYour finished piece will measure approx 20x15cm. \nI will help you as much\, or as little\, as you require from start to finish. \nYour piece will require TWO firings. One to fuse the glass together\, then another to SLUMP it into a mould to make it 3 Dimensional.\nPlease expect to wait approximately ONE WEEK before for your work will be be ready for collection. \nWhilst I have tried to make this workshop as safe as possible\, that cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the materials involved.\nYou must wear solid soled\, closed toed shoes- STRICTLY no flip flops\, crocs or sandals!\nYou may need to wear goggles. I have plenty of pairs for you to use but you may want to bring your own. \nBecause you will be able to choose to cut glass sheet as part of your design this one is just for the Grown ups\,\nstrictly over 18’s only\, sorry! \nI’m afraid my garden studio is not wheelchair accessible.
